Curriculum
Iñaki Abalos and Juan Herreros have worked together since 1984; they are Head and Tenior Teachers in the Architecture School of Madrid where they were also Construction tutors during the period 1984-1988. They are authors of " Le Corbusier. Skyscrapers", " Tower and Office", and " Natural- Artificial".
Their work, which has been awarded in several ocations, is compilated in a monography published by Gustavo Gili, it has been reviewed by specialized magazines and has taken part in individual and colective exhibitions such us the one promoted by the MOMA with the motto " Light Construction" ( New York, 1995 ), or " New Trends of Architecture 2002 " ( Tokio 2002 ). In 1997 they edited " Areas of Impunity", which compilates texts, work and projects since then and in 2000 " Recycling Madrid" with the same criterion. They have taken part in several workshops and international seminars being noumed " Buell Book Fellows" and " Visiting Teachers " of Columbia University, New York, in 1995, and " Diploma Unit Masters " in the Architectural Association of London in 1998, as well as " Professeurs Invites" in the EPF of Architecture of Lausana. Since 1992 they have directed and coordinated the International Multimedia League (LMI), which is an organization dedicated to contributing to the simplification and intensification of artistic practice.
